Our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor based in the East of Scotland, is looking to extend their team with a Graduate Quantity Surveyor. We are seeking someone with the motivation, drive, and energy to help the team grow and develop in the coming months and years.
About the Role:
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a degree in quantity surveying or a related field to kick-start their career. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced quantity surveyors and other site management, gaining valuable practical hands-on experience while contributing to the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
·Collaborate closely with experienced Quantity Surveyors on major construction projects.
·Contribute to vital tasks, from cost estimation to tender documentation.
·Take on roles essential in procurement, cost control, and risk management.
·Monitor and control project costs.
·Identify and manage project risk.
·Ensure project success through budget management.
·Maintain smooth client relations and precise documentation.
Benefits:
