Job Description:
Shower Door Assembly Operative
Ignite is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shower Door Assembly Operative for a prestigious client specializing in the design and manufacture of door systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Understanding schedules and drawings.
- Assembling toughened shower doors.
- Cutting aluminium mega hinges.
- Using various hand tools, chop saw, and mitre saw.
- Using power tools, spade cutters, and core cutters.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Following training and procedures.
- Maintaining quality control.
- Demonstrating good organizational and time management skills.
- Working effectively in a team environment.
- Providing excellent service while respecting and maintaining the company's core values.
Skills and Experience
- Proven track record in an assembly role.
- Manufacturing background.
- Confident communicator, both spoken and written, with the ability to relay information to the team leader.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to work well with people and build trust with team members and stakeholders.
- Dependable, proactive, and smart working.
- Good judgment, self-motivation, and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
Remuneration Package
- £30,000 - £32,000 per annum salary.
- Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm.
- 40-hour working week.
- Annual holiday allowance of 20 days plus Bank Holidays.
