We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician / Mot tester (please also apply if you don’t have an mot licence we are on the lookout for good technicians) who is a minimum level 2 or 3 imi/nvq/city & guilds to join our settled friendly team in Harlow

This is a full-time position Monday- Friday 8.30 - 5.30 and Saturday mornings on a team rota 1 in 3 paid at overtime rate time and a half. With a competitive basic salary of between £30000 and £32000 based on experience, your experience will dictate the starting salary, Ote £45,000 uncapped. We will pay the right money for the right Vehicle technician / Mot tester

You will need your own tools and a full driving licence. Level  2/3 or above at imi / nvq or similar certification .

Duties of a Vehicle Technician / mot tester
- Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks according to established guidelines
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipment
- Inspect vehicles for damage or defects and recommend necessary repairs
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed on vehicles
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns

Skills required of a Vehicle Technician / mot tester
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for vehicle repairs
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
