InstaStaff are currently recruiting for a Lab Technician to join our client based in the City Centre, Birmingham.
The duties of the Lab Technician:
- Collecting, testing and processing samples according with technical/quality procedures.
- Recording Test results and experimental data accurately in electronic or written format.
- Maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment according to environmental and health standards.
- Ordering laboratory supplies, chemicals, and test tooling.
- Calculating and reporting test results to Technical Manager.
The skills of the Lab Technician:
- Minimum 2 years experience required.
- Ability to understand and follow procedures.
- To have good analytical skills.
- To have good organizational and time management skills.
- Be good at working in a team environment.
- To have excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience with numerical calculations and writing reports.
- Previous experience of chemical, analytical, lab testing is desirable.
Key information of the Lab Technician:
- Temporary to Permanent role.
- 38 hours per week.
- Monday to Thursday 0800 - 1645.
- Friday 0800 - 1300.
Pay rate for the Lab Technician is £13.00 per hour, once permanent with the company the rate will increase.
