The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated, highly organised Financial Lines Underwriting Assistant to join our friendly team in Liverpool. The role will include the day-to-day handling of all underwriting administration duties to support colleagues within the underwriting department and would suit an individual with a keen work ethic who enjoys working in an administrative environment with a high level of attention to detail.
As the business continues to grow, there will be various opportunities to get involved in other exciting projects, expanding your skills along the way, and giving you the ability to grow within your role.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering phone calls and assisting with enquiries.
  • Offer full administrative support to both the organisations new sales and existing business teams.
  • Input and maintain accurate information into all systems and administer accurate policy documentation.
  • Assisting with general administration as required.
  • Adherence to compliance and regulatory procedures.

Skills & Experience:

  • Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong planning and organisational abilities.
  • Proactive approach to handling queries and providing timely solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven Admin experience (Desirable but not Essential).
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Energy, enthusiasm and drive.
