BI Analyst - Addlestone

A leading construction company in Addlestone is seeking a BI Analyst with a strong background in reporting. The ideal candidate will use their expertise to significantly advance management information by adopting new technologies. Proficiency in Power BI is crucial. The role involves working with these platforms, along with other specific reporting tools, to ensure timely reporting and informed decision-making that drives our business forward.

The salary for this position ranges from £30,000 to £35,000, plus a car allowance and benefits.

The role is hybrid, requiring three days on-site per week.

Key Responsibilities:

- Enhance business reporting, modeling, and data integration systems.
- Leverage enterprise information assets and analytics to improve decision-making, aligning with business strategy.
- Facilitate the transition to enhanced in-application and Power BI reporting.
- Manage compliance with business information storage and reporting.
- Identify and prioritize business requirements for successful product implementation and monitoring.
- Act as a super user for business information projects, representing IT when necessary.
- Document data warehouse and semantic data model business logic.
- Monitor and manage the performance and upgrades of reporting applications to ensure stability.

Key Skills:

- Experience with Power BI.
- Knowledge of ETL tools and principles.
- Ability to develop complex BI reports using multiple data sources and joins.
- Understanding of the need for detailed technical documentation, such as User Requirements and Functional Specifications, and the ability to convert these into technical specifications and programming.
