Early Years Autism Practitioner

Location: Islington, London, WC1X 9QX
Salary: £23,500 per annum, rising to £24,500 after successful completion of probation
Contract: Full-time, permanent, 8:30am – 6:30pm, Monday – Friday

We were established in 2000 to provide a comprehensive service to families and professionals caring for individuals with autism spectrum disorders throughout the UK and the rest of the world.

We are a team of ABA Therapists committed to making a real and genuine difference to the lives of young people with autism.

We are looking for qualified childcare professionals and those willing to gain childcare qualifications to join our growing team of therapists dedicated to improving the lives of young people with autism and enabling them to thrive.

You will be required to provide 1:1 and small group teaching to children using the principles of ABA.

You will work as one of a team of therapists working with a variety of pupils each day within our lively Ofsted Registered Therapy Centre.

Full and ongoing training is provided

You will be responsible for delivering an individualised curriculum to each pupil and recording curriculum and behavioural data.

This role would best suit graduates in psychology, education or childcare

Desired Qualifications:

  • Level 3 in childcare or equivalent (recently qualified welcome)
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field
  • First aid certificate
  • Full and ongoing training is provided.

A clear Enhanced DBS certificate is required, 2 professional reference checks will be carried out and candidates must pass all safeguarding and child protection checks.
