Quantity Surveyor
We have a current requirement for a Quantity Surveyor on a freelance basis for a 12-month contract in Wakefield.
The role is with a tier 1 main contractor and to join the team on a £20m data centre refurbishment scheme.
The role will involve
- Produce Subcontract documentation.
- Management of subcontract works packages.
- Produce and issue commercial notices.
- Manage change in a timely manner in accordance with the form of contract.
- Produce, submit, and agree monthly applications.
- Produce monthly reports and Cost Value Reconciliation’s (CVR) as required.
- Produce and maintain a detailed ‘Cost Plan
- Attending weekly progress meetings with the client and subcontractors.
- Packages you will be involved with are primarily M&E orientated so previous experience of M&E packages would be an advantage.
We are looking for:
- Experience with a well-known main contractor.
- Experience of M&E packages
- Ability to get to Wakefield on a daily basis.
- The role is to start asap.
The Plus Points
This is a long-term freelance role with a tier 1 main contractor. You will be based on a major scheme and there may be opportunities for follow on projects.
