Quality Engineer

Evo Personnel are acting as an employment agency and we are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer for our prestigious manufacturing client in the Blackburn area.

Salary & Package

£40,000.00 - £42,000.00 DOE.

Day Shift

Monday - Friday 08:30 – 17:00.

Requirements

Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025.
Six Sigma.
Maintain a quality management system.
Able to work in line with policies and procedures.
Oversee inspections, tests and audits.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Create process control plans.
Work closely with other departments within the company.
Perform quality assurance checks.
Raise any non-conformances, analyse the issues and put solutions in place.
Produce quality reports, product audits and environmental audits.
Attend meetings to present quality reports.
Process documentation and administration.
Have a strong understanding of health & safety.
Exceptional organisation and communication skills.
A strong understanding of IT and computer systems.
Have previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will be required to perform quality checks on products as they move through each stage and you will need raise any non-conformances and put solutions in place. Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025 is vital and you will need to work in line with policies & procedures that are already implemented. Six Sigma is required for this role.

This is a hands-on position that is mainly based on the shop floor although there is an element of working in the office to produce audits and reports.
