My client are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their fast-paced business in Northampton. The role will involve coaching and leading a team, category management, and driving change and transformation.

This Procurement Manager role will be based in Northampton on a 3/2 day hybrid model.

Description

• Develop a category management strategy for the procurement function, based in Northampton
• Develop and lead a commercial and customer-focused team - c. 3 direct reports, 7+ indirect reports
• Sourcing and contract negotiation with suppliers (typically low cost country Inc. Far East)
• NPD focused, ensuring top-tier products are sourced sustainably for customer
• Keep up to date with innovation and market trends

Profile

The successful candidate for this Procurement Manager role will have strong leadership experience and qualities.

In addition, experience of sourcing within a low-cost country supply base is key. A commercially focused mindset is key, alongside strong internal and external stakeholder management skills, within a matrix supply chain operation.

Job Offer

The successful candidate will be offered c. £60,000 - £70,000 plus car allowance, c. 15-20% bonus (dependent on business performance), pension up to 12% matched and family private healthcare.

This role will require 2-3 days per week on-site in Northampton.
