Field based role with frequent travel, and occasional work at headquarters in Melksham

Are you from an armed forces, first responder or other emergency service background, seeking to take on a training position where you will be heavily invested in through technical training in order to effectively carry out your work, in a varied and interesting role where you will be able to build a lasting career?

This company are a specialist provider of protective equipment for the military, emergency services and first responders, and have a history that stretches back well over a century. Market leaders in their field, the company has a drive for technical excellence which is reflected in the quality of their product range. Due to the recent release of new cutting-edge products, they are looking to hire additional talent to join their team of experts, and help further improve their standards of service.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an army, police or similar background, looking for the opportunity to take the next major step in their career and develop their technical skillset. You will be responsible for delivering training on correct product use, occasional product repair and generally representing the company to customers, assisting wherever possible. This role will involve frequent travel to customer sites, including potentially overseas, which will be generally compensated.

This role would suit someone with a background in a military or first responder role with experience of working with PPE, seeking a new challenge in a technically interesting and rewarding role where you have the opportunity to make a real difference and help directly improve the safety of customers.

The Role:

  • Delivering training on effective use of cutting edge PPE and various kinds of protective equipment
  • May involve some hands on repair when necessary (full training provided)
  • Will involve frequent travel to customer sites in the UK and further afield


The Candidate:

  • Will have experience in a service role: (armed forces, police, first responder or similar)
  • Will be comfortable with delivering training presentations and other educational content
  • Will have a UK Drivers License
