Contract Embedded Linux Engineer
Overview:
Contract: Outside IR35
Location: Cambridge
Length: 6 months (possible extensions)
Rate: £60-£65 p/h DOE
Hours: 37 hours a week, Hybrid (Subject to project requirements)
An immediate requirement has come up for an embedded linux engineer to join a successful multinational Cambridge client who design, manufacture and distribute critical communications devices on an initial 6 month contract basis.
Key responsibilities:

Develop, integrate, and test Android/Linux platform.

Developing functionality within bootloaders, Android HALs and Linux Kernel.

Driver integration
Key requirements

Strong low-level expertise within Linux kernel and embedded systems development

Driver development including experience in power management alongside experience with bootloaders

Experience working with battery powered systems
