Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Engage, lead, and develop warehouse staff.
- Operational Management: Oversee warehouse operations, including maintenance, Health & Safety, cost monitoring, and KPI management.
- Fleet Management: Manage a 150-vehicle fleet, ensuring compliance with Working Time regulations.
- Budget and Inventory Control: Manage budgets and stock adjustments to ensure efficient and cost-effective product supply.
- Communication: Build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels.
- Experience: Minimum two years in a large-scale logistics environment.
- Compliance: Knowledgeable in managing 3rd party hauliers, compliance, and legislation.
- People Management: Proven ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Budget Management: Experienced in managing budgets and working towards KPIs.
- Commercial Awareness: Able to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive business growth.
- Strategic Implementation: Skilled in translating strategy into operational procedures.
- Proactive Leadership: Capable of delivering accurate results and reports.
- Team Player: Flexible and collaborative.
