Data Cataloguing Technical Analyst

• Oversee the data cataloguing process and ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Work closely with the analytics team to develop, maintain, and enhance the data management system.
• Provide technical support for the data cataloguing system to internal teams.
• Work on data mapping, data lineage, and metadata management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and define data requirements.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and standards.
• Contribute to the development of data management strategies and procedures.
• Participate in training and workshops to enhance data management skills within the organisation.

Profile

Data Cataloguing Technical Analyst

A successful Data Cataloguing (DC) Technical Analyst should have:

• A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field.
• Proven experience in data management, specifically in data cataloguing.
• Experience of Python (desirable).
• Excellent knowledge of data protection regulations and compliance. (GDPR certification)
• Strong technical skills, including experience with data cataloguing tools. (MS Purview)
• Exceptional communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
