Description
Data Cataloguing Technical Analyst
- Oversee the data cataloguing process and ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Work closely with the analytics team to develop, maintain, and enhance the data management system.
- Provide technical support for the data cataloguing system to internal teams.
- Work on data mapping, data lineage, and metadata management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and define data requirements.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and standards.
- Contribute to the development of data management strategies and procedures.
- Participate in training and workshops to enhance data management skills within the organisation.
Profile
Data Cataloguing Technical Analyst
A successful Data Cataloguing (DC) Technical Analyst should have:
- A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field.
- Proven experience in data management, specifically in data cataloguing.
- Experience of Python (desirable).
- Excellent knowledge of data protection regulations and compliance. (GDPR certification)
- Strong technical skills, including experience with data cataloguing tools. (MS Purview)
- Exceptional communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Job Offer
