Opus People Solutions are seeking a Warehouse Operative in the Transport and Logistics industry to join an outstanding business on the outskirts of Ipswich.

This is a role that requires no experience as long as you have a good attitude, are physically fit (hand balling will be required) and have a basic understanding of Maths & English (recording, counting pallets etc).

A forklift license is beneficial, although one will be paid for by the company for the right candidate. Overtime is paid on top of your basic salary.

The successful candidate will have chances to learn new skills and qualifications on the job, all whilst working for a business growing rapidly due to their success.

Key Responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative:

• Safe unloading and loading of vehicles
• Counting and confirming inventory.
• Inspecting inventory for faults or damage - taking photos where necessary
• Communicating discrepancy issues to relevant parties.
• Marking and labelling stock as required/instructed.
• Storing stock/inventory in a safe manner.
• Completing all paperwork as instructed and per company policies.
• Loading and wrapping stock on pallets.
• If trained, carry out safety checks on vehicles and record checks.
• Racking checks
• Site checks

A UK driver's license is desirable due to being on the outskirts of Ipswich. You must be able to travel to Great Blakenham daily.

Currently working either 07:00 - 16:30 or 08:00-17:30.

Overtime and weekend work available during peak times.
