About the role: We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our creative and nurturing school community in Hackney. This full-time, long-term position involves working closely with a Year 1 student who has complex needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in EYFS and a strong passion for supporting children with special educational needs.

Application Requirements: 

• Relevant experience working with children with special educational needs.
• EYFS experience is highly desirable.
• A patient, empathetic, and positive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.

 Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to support the student's development.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Help with classroom activities, ensuring the student is engaged and participating.
