Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor.
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £36k + Training + Benefits
We are working closely with an established Asbestos Consultancy who are based in West Yorkshire. They are now seeking to take on a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor. You will be working across the Yorkshire region, carrying out the full range of surveying duties across Local Authority, Industrial, Educational, and Social Housing sites, working in line with HSG 264 guidelines, ensuring that work is completed in line with agreed time frames. For the successful candidate, our client can offer company pension scheme, a competitive salary, cross training into other environmental sectors as well as the opportunity to gain further Pcert modules, and company vehicle with fuel card. Due to the nature of the role, our client would consider various levels of experience including Trainee Asbestos Surveyors.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Bradford, Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Castleford, Keighley, Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield, Scunthorpe, Halifax, Brighouse, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Bolton, Wigan, St Helens, Liverpool, Warrington, Oldham, Manchester, Stockport, Rochdale, Macclesfield, Buxton, Crewe.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent.
" Will have experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor for a reputable Asbestos Consultancy.
" Well versed in HSG 264 guidelines.
" Able to work well independently and in a team.
" Excellent time management skills, able to work to agreed and strict deadlines.
The Role:
" Conducting management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
" Carrying out sampling of suspected ACMs on site.
" Carrying out re-inspection surveys.
" Bagging and labelling of suspected ACM prior to sending to the laboratory for analysis.
" Ensuring work carried out adheres to HSG 264 guidelines.
" Writing detailed and comprehensive reports based on site findings using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
