We are seeking a FACTS Specialist Lead to act as the technical authority on EPC FACTS projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, preparing, and implementing technical specifications for FACTS equipment, ensuring compliance and successful project delivery.

The FACTS Specialist Lead, Primary Assets shall act as the technical expert with responsibility for the development, preparation, and implementation of technical specifications for FACTS equipment on the Transmission System. You will work collaboratively with the project delivery team to ensure successful project delivery and compliance with the relevant specification

Qualifications and Skills -Essential experience

Education- Level 8 engineering qualification or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 8 years in HV Power and/or HV T&D industry, including at least 4 years in FACTS technologies such as STATCOMs, Series Compensation, Sync Condensers, and Dynamic Power Flow Controllers.

Technical Expertise- Strong knowledge of FACTS technologies, technical specifications, and lifecycle management.

Project Delivery- Proven track record in delivering substation and/or FACTS engineering projects.

Tendering- Good understanding of tender processes, evaluations, and EPC projects.

Skills- Strong negotiation, influencing, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

License- Full driver’s license.

Desirable

Experience with multiple FACTS technologies on various projects.

Other Requirements:

Candidates must have a personal phone, laptop/PC, and internet facilities to engage professionally during the engagement.
