CAD Design Technician Permanent Full-Time

Salary - £25,000
Location - In office, Stockton-on-Tees

We're excited to be supporting a company who was the winner of best new business, specialising in the design and manufacturing of roofing solutions across the UK.

Seeing continued success, they are now looking to increase their design capacity with an additional CAD Design Technician. This is a great opportunity for a post graduate junior designer to join a growing business offering supporting and training to develop your skills within their niche.

Responsibilities, but are not limited to

• Design and engineer using their own proprietary CAD software of bespoke roofing solutions for the commercial sectors
• Deliver detailed and accurate technical drawings to industry standards
• Produce bills of materials (BOMs) for purchasing
• Investigate, identify, and utilise suitable materials and products in designs
• Collaborating with engineering, production, onsite machine shops and purchasing departments, as well as suppliers

Experiences required

• Construction degree or similar minimum 2:1
• Competent CAD 3D modeller using: SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Fusion 360, Creo, Inventor, AutoCAD, Autodesk, Siemens NX, CATIA, Rhino, FreeCAD, Onshape, Revit or similar
• Professional experience in a similar industry as an internship or placement is advantageous
• Valid clean driving license
