The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant 

• Working closely with SEN students on a 1:1 or group basis
• Providing academic and emotional support to students
• Working with learners who have SEN such as Autism, Complex Needs and/or SLD
• Liaising with the class teacher, keeping track of students' progress
• Delivering some personal care when required

Experience - SEN Teaching Assistant 

• Previous experience working with SEN
• Experience working in a SEN/mainstream school setting 
• Providing support to students with additional needs and learning difficulties
• Knowledge of PECs and Makaton
