Laboratory Technician

Doncaster – £25k to £30k DOE

Our client is a medical regulatory compliance specialist, providing a range of analytical services to customers throughout Europe. In order to develop and validate new testing methods as well as fulfil the ever-growing needs of clients, they need to grow their own lab team and currently have a vacancy for a commercially aware Lab Technician; duties will include:

Using lab instrumentation such as HPLC and GCMS to carry out testing and analysis of product samples to ISO 17025 standards.

Analysing and verifying results, producing reports and presenting findings in a clear, concise manner that can be easily understood.

Following and helping to develop the lab Quality Management System specific to UKAS ISO 17025 and work towards GMP standards.  

Supporting Customer Services by updating the Helpdesk and customers with reports and feedback in a timely manner.

To be considered for the Laboratory Technician position, you will ideally have:

A degree (or equiv) in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering

ISO17025 Lab technician experience – HPLC, GCMS

Knowledge of Cannabinoids & CBD, Nicotine: TPD & PMTA

Experience of method development and validation, results analysis as well as planning & prioritizing testing for commercial projects

Salary: £25k – £30k DOE

Working Hours: 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, finishing at 3.30pm on Fridays

Flexi: Some flexibility can be agreed upon between 8am and 5pm
