Air Tightness Consultant
My client specialises in providing sustainable building compliance services, offering comprehensive advice and support at every stage of development. They work with a diverse range of clients, including prominent international architectural firms, national contractors, and local authorities, delivering cost-effective and efficient services to meet their sustainability and compliance needs.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in building engineering, acoustics, energy, or environmental science, or equivalent experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive experience in air tightness or a related field, or possession of the CWCT qualification
- Possession of a valid driver's licence
Responsibilities:
- Attend regular meetings with key stakeholders from design and contractor teams to evaluate designs and review inspection findings
- Conduct accredited PassivHaus Air Testing and Air Tightness Diagnosis, including Smoke Testing
- Perform room integrity testing for both residential and commercial structures
- Prepare and organise reports and supplementary documents to offer a thorough assessment of design and monitoring issues during the initial construction phases
