About the Role:
As a Lead Java SDET, you'll manage a small, focused team responsible for delivering highly scalable and robust services within the company's platform. You'll ensure efficient testing strategies, emphasizing shift-left testing principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee performance assessments and hiring for a team of SDETs.
- Guide the team's testing and automation strategies.
- Define and organize test planning for releases.
- Design and code automation frameworks, tests, and tools.
- Participate in team planning and story grooming.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: At least 8 years in test development and 2 years directing a small team.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Java and object-oriented principles.
- Agile Expertise: Proficient in applying test practices in an agile environment.
- Unit Testing: Experience with frameworks like JUnit.
- Backend Testing: Familiarity with testing backend systems or APIs.
- Performance Testing: Knowledge of tools like JMeter.
