£30.29 - £31.79/hour

Rullion have an exciting opportunity for two electrical maintenance fitters to work with a world leading light rail company based out of their tram depot in Nottingham.

Qualifications:
NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
Electrical Installation qualifications do not apply.

Experience:
Candidates with a background in either of the following are preferred:
Rolling Stock, Light Rail, Aerospace, Armed Forces Military Engineering or Large Transportation.

Rates:
This role falls inside of IR35 and therefore payment options are PAYE or Umbrella company:
- PAYE: £24.17 per hour + accrued holidays (28 to 33 days)
- Umbrella: £30.29 per hour (first 12 weeks) / £31.79 per hour (after 12 weeks)

Location:
Nottingham NG7

Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday - Day and Night Shift Pattern.
Times to be discussed.

Duration;
Ongoing contract (Reviewed every 6 months).


Job Description;
Technical Team Member

Purpose of the Job;
Being part of the depot autonomous team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in delivery of our clients contractual obligations for maintenance and service of all Regional & Intercity customer fleets.

Responsibilities:
- Being part of, and providing technical support to the depot autonomous teams in the way of fault-finding expertise and assistance with tram repair activities.
- Collating data from system downloads and depot reports for all service failures.
- Analysing data to determine failure modes and compiling test/rectification procedures.
- Identifying minor failures requiring corrective maintenance from system downloads.
- Identifying failure trends/anomalies and informing Engineering/Reliability Teams of possible improvements.
- Collating fault data and storing it in appropriate shared drive facilities.
- Identifying infrastructure-based failure modes and informing NR/Fleet Control.
- Liaising with Safety Team and providing detailed reports on system performance when required.
- Liaising with Fleet Engineers, monitoring Fleet Console, and providing technical assistance as needed.
- Assisting ESG groups in investigation and reliability studies.
- Assisting in pre-work planning of shifts, ensuring accurate "Planning War Board" production.
- Accompanying test runs as required.
- Assisting with skill development within autonomous teams.
- Performing all duties in accordance with Train care Centre quality and safety procedures.
- Ensuring work is performed safely and effectively in compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
- Driving company vehicles for depot operational or technical work, as required by current eligible and authorised Technicians.
- Performing overhead isolation's as needed.

Additional Information:
- This role is subject to Drugs & Alcohol Testing.
- PPE will be provided by Rullion.
