So what’s the job?

Simply put, we need a hands-on Payroll & HR Coordinator in our multi-discipline HR team in Gloucester. 

In this position, you will own the Payroll process for the UK, in addition to supporting the business with HR administration and coordination.

This is the ideal position for someone who thrives in a busy environment with diverse responsibilities and can demonstrate a love for detail and analytical thinking.

What will you be doing?

Payroll and Benefits

  • Prepare and submit accurate monthly payrolls including:

    • Gather and submit variance payments

    • Resolve discrepancies with the Finance team

    • Coordinate with external payroll providers

    • First point of contact for payroll and pension inquiries

  • Administer employee benefits including communication with benefits and pensions providers

  • Act as point of contact for all employees with Benefit related queries

  • Own the relationship with our vendor broker

HR Coordination

  • Own and manage HR systems

  • Manage new starter and leaver processes and paperwork, including exit interviews

  • Handle contractual changes, and Assist with HR policy updates and probation processes

  • HR reporting

  • Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures for all staff

What experience do you need under your belt?

  • Demonstrable experience managing payroll and related responsibilities.

  • Previous HR Administration experience with an understanding of UK employment law

  • Strong organisation skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a changeable environment

  • Proficiency in MS Office, including advanced MS Excel for reporting purposes

  • A keen eye for detail

  • Tactful and diplomatic communication skills

  • Demonstrate integrity and impartiality
