We have a great new opportunity for a Commercial Account Executive to join a forward-thinking energy company, with the option to work remotely for part of your week and the flexibility to set your own hours.

Playing a crucial role within this developing company, you will be working to support the team of Account Managers with their largest and most profitable accounts, ensuring they have consistent and dedicated support. Working as a real lynch-pin between internal Account Managers, third party suppliers and clients, you will act as the go to person for any initial questions or queries and develop strong working relationships with these key stakeholders. With fantastic communication skills, you will need to be just as comfortable speaking with clients and third parties over the phone as you will be meeting them in person, as you’ll attend client reviews, prospective client meetings and networking events to identify new business.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be logging and tracking key metrics and information across the internal CRM system, creating regular reports for clients and working with the Account Managers to ensure they have all the information they need ahead of client meetings and presentations. You will need to be forward-thinking and have bags of initiative as you will also be looking for ways to add value for your clients, particularly working with some of the organisation’s smaller accounts to offer them the best rates and additional product packages available.

Being of graduate calibre, you must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a similar B2B role and ideally have a corporate commercial sales background. Confident in your ability to build new relationships with ease, you will have demonstrable experience of dealing with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, liaising with businesses of all sizes. You will have excellent attention to detail, great general IT skills, along with outstanding interpersonal, relationship building and negotiation skills.
