Interim Financial Accountant

There is an immediate opportunity for a Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent Accountant to join our Lincoln based client, for an initial 3-6 month to support the business covering an internal secondment in the Financial Accountant position. Reporting to the Compliance manager, this role will take responsibility for supporting them in development of the compliance framework for data processing, record keeping and accounting procedures and management of the year end Audit requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
Establish the framework for process documentation
Documentation of all processes, risks and controls in line with framework
Identification and implementation of process improvements and key risk areas
Internal Audit
Preparation of annual statutory accounts
Management of year end external processes
You will be required to demonstrate experience of systems and controls review & implementation, strong technical accounting skills and high attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
