Our client, a construction support business specialising in providing hardwood timber access mats for both sale and hire throughout the UK, are seeking a Sales Administration Manager to join them in their Stratford-upon-Avon branch, due to continued growth. The Sales Administration Manager will be responsible for; processing sales and hires, answering telephone enquiries, supporting the sales team, after sales support, assisting with accounts and purchasing good as required. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, growing company in a varied role with good long-term prospects.



Sales Administration Manager Position Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: £30k - £35k DOE
  • Discretionary bonus (paid every year so far, circa 10%)
  • Pension Scheme
  • 25 days holiday per annum + Bank Holidays
  • Full time role Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
  • Location: Stratford-upon- Avon (office based)






Sales Administration Manager Position Overview

  • Answering the telephone and email enquiries
  • General administration work
  • Sales and Operations work - taking enquiries, following up on quotations, processing orders, after-sales service
  • Logistics - arranging deliveries and collections with the haulage companies and booking in with clients
  • Liaising - Communicate with suppliers and transport companies, communicate with customers keeping them informed as necessary
  • Accounts - invoicing (sage line 50) taking payments, ensuring monies are received, setting up new credit accounts, checking supplier invoices, credit control
  • Purchasing - ordering of goods and services as and when required
  • Management - management of any additional office staff based at the depot



Sales Administration Manager Position Requirements

  • Ability to perform senior administrative duties and ability to work alone
  • Prior experience in after sales
  • Excellent PC skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills including ability to communicate at all levels
  • Managing time effectively and efficiently, to maximise activity levels, whilst prioritising the workload
  • Ability to work hands on in a fast and reactive role
  • Flexible approach, fast thinking & acting, open to change and willing to learn and apply new skills
  • Be highly self-motivated and be driven by outstanding performance
