Our Calne Based Client are looking for individuals to join its powder coating team, working with sheet metal ensuring high quality materials are produced, completing orders in a timely manner and minimising errors.

Position: Paint Sprayer / Powder Coater
Salary: £12-14ph
Hours: Mon - Thurs 7:30 to 16:30, Friday 7:30 to 13:30
Location: Calne

Job Description:

As a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for applying powder coating to a variety of metal products, ensuring a high-quality finish. You will work closely with the production team to meet project deadlines and maintain high standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for powder coating, including cleaning, masking, and sanding.
Apply powder coating using manual and automated equipment.
Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on powder coating equipment.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Powder Coater or in a similar role.
Knowledge of powder coating techniques and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with automated powder coating systems.
Familiarity with different types of powder and their applications.
