£42,000 - £50,000/annum

Our client based in Woking are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to join their busy team as soon as possible! The Facilities Manager will oversee all technical and mechanical work to ensure the building meets standards of safety. This includes inspections, repairs, and general maintenance, as well as leading the maintenance team. To be considered for this role you must be available immediately.

Duties:

  • Lead on maintenance activities to ensure requests are being performed in line with company standards
  • Oversees all maintenance work for the site and list all repairs needed
  • Scheduling contractors when required
  • Undertaking routine checks of all areas of the building, identifying maintenance tasks for the team
  • Periodically inspects work performed by contractors, to ensure all work meet quality standards
  • Follow policies, ensuring compliance with H&S regulations, organisational standards, and operational processes
  • Perform minor and routine maintenance on all appropriate equipment on a regular basis
  • Practices and promotes proper safety standards in accordance with the Company's policies
  • Complete documentation and other paperwork timely and accurately

Requirements:

  • Have relevant experience as a Facilities Manager
  • Have comprehensive understanding of building maintenance
  • Be fully aware of health and safety regulations
  • Hold an IOSH certificate and L8 certificate
  • NEBOSH certificate would be advantageous
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft office tools
