A Tech Consultancy urgently requires a MS Azure Data Engineer to deliver operational, scalable data and AL solutions, giving technical guidance across a variety of projects. You will be a self-starter, keen to further develop your technical and consultancy experience within a rewarding and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
·Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
·Build and manage data warehouses and ensure data integrity.
·Optimise data systems and infrastructure for performance and scalability.
·Implement data governance and security policies.
·Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
·Own and develop process documentation and tools
·Manage key relationships with client stakeholders, leveraging your institutional knowledge and expertise, and ensuring buy-in to the agreed strategies
·Support the growth of our dynamic boutique consultancy across a wide variety of areas


Requirements
·This role provides a unique opportunity for a proactive and driven individual to take their consulting career to the next level. We are looking for applicants who have:
·Experience with Microsoft Azure
·Proficiency in Python, and SQL
·Experience with data warehousing solutions particularly Azure Data Lake, Fabric and Databrick (or other Spark engines)
·Familiarity with ETL tools like Apache NiFi, Talend, or Informatica.
·Understanding of data models and schema design and use of cataloguing and governance tools such as Microsoft Purview.
·Experience of orchestration and IAC tools such as Azure Data Factory, Terraform or Azure DevOps with good CI/CD skills.
·Confidence to challenge existing ways of working
·Recognise opportunities and identify innovative solutions that add real value to clients.
·Strong grasp of detail and a hands-on' approach.
·Excellent analytical skills and ability to assess complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
·Effective communication/interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and external partners.
