Location: Birmingham, B18 6NF
Salary: £34,000 per annum (pro rata)
Contract: Part time, Permanent
Hours: 28 hours per week, pro rate of 35 hours per week

We are CATALYST 4 CHANGE, we are on a powerful mission to strengthen the capacity and networks of user-led, voluntary, social enterprise, grassroots, organisations and businesses to ensure the right mental health care is in place.

We provide a range of services for grassroots mental health and wellbeing providers in the West Midlands, including lobbying & representation, signposting, events and much more!

We are now recruiting for a Programmes & Partnership Manager to develop, support and deliver the projects and activities relevant to our Programmes & Partnerships initiatives.

You will support our Senior Leadership Team to promote Catalyst 4 Change and assist with member engagement, this will also include undertaking activities that may result in new membership registrations of community organisations and assisting with monitoring membership take-up.

In addition to this as our Programmes & Partnership Manager you will be responsible for:

•  Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement project plans, managing objectives, activities, and timelines.
•  Manage contracts for services required for project delivery, such as audits or evaluations.
•  Identify and secure additional financial, in-kind, or sponsored resources for programmes and projects.
•  Provide day-to-day support and guidance to staff under Programmes & Partnerships initiatives.
•  Support recruitment of staff, volunteers, consultants, and contractors.
•  Develop and implement M&E frameworks to track project progress, outcomes, and impact.
•  Collect and analyse data to inform programme improvements.
•  Prepare regular progress reports for funders, stakeholders, and senior management.
•  Create content for newsletters, blogs, and social media to communicate project updates.
•  Work closely with senior management to maintain a consistent brand on publications.

Programmes & Partnership Manager – What we need from you:

Essential Skills & Attributes

•  Proven experience of programme / project management and facilitating the development of connections to people, skills and resources within Black communities.
•  Excellent knowledge and understanding of race, equality and the impact of institutional and systemic racism.
•  Experience of managing staff effectively and sympathetically, observing good practice in relation to support, appraisal and personal development.
•  Evidence of coordinating and delivering communities and outreach campaigns / programmes in Black communities.
•  In depth knowledge and understanding of the experiences of people of African and Caribbean descent.
•  Experience of working with sensitive issues and of collaborating with key stakeholders to implement project plans.

It would be great if you had:

•  Experience of identifying fundraising opportunities to secure additional financial, in-kind or sponsored resources for programmes and projects.
•  Experience of working within the voluntary sector effectively.
