Site Manager (Freelance) - Hotel Refurbishment Project - West End - 4-6 month contract - CIS acceptable - IMMEDIATE START

My client is a leading construction company renowned for delivering high-quality projects across the London region. With a strong commitment to excellence and innovation, they are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join our team and lead a fast-track refurbishment project in the Covent Garden area of London. Works include the management of internal trades from strip out onto 1st and 2nd fix, through to finshes.

Job Overview:

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-site activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard. You will play a crucial role in liaising between the site team, subcontractors, and clients to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and update stakeholders regularly.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among site team members.
  • Manage site resources efficiently, including labour, materials, and equipment.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Handle any on-site issues or emergencies swiftly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, schedules, and cost reports

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the Refurbishment sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
  • Valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid.
