DT, RM - Wandsworth - September 2024

We are looking for a Teacher of Design Technology (specialising in Resistant Materials/Product Design) for a remarkable school in Wandsworth.

Start date: 2nd September 2024

Salary: Pay will be equivalent to that of a permanent staff member (MPS/UPS for Inner London).

This is a full-time post for a minimum of two terms.

• The successful candidate must have experience teaching KS3-KS4 DT, Resistant Materials.
• The ability to teach other areas of DT would also be desirable.
• This is a full teaching commitment, including Tutor Group, marking, exam group responsibility and the usual whole school activities.
• DT is a very popular subject at this school with a very high uptake at GCSE
• The DT department and Workshops are well equipped with state of the art, modern specialist DT facilities.
• This highly funded and excellently resourced department has a large team of supportive teaching staff and technicians.

If all goes well, this could also lead to a permanent opportunity in January 2025.

• Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
• An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
