The Company:
Automotive component manufacturing business looking to recruit a new Tooling Supervisor to manage machinery, resources, equipment and systems are ran smoothly and reliably.
Job Description:
- The management of direct reports including recruitment, performance management, reward and recognition, and training and development.
- Planning, coordinating, and deploying technical resources to achieve operational goals and objectives.
- Organising and delivering planned maintenance on-time utilizing available resources.
- Achieving KPIs, including planned maintenance adherence and time spent on planned maintenance.
- Prioritising and closing out routine activities, including ZIP audits, training compliance, layered audits, skill development, and housekeeping audits.
- Driving collaborative and cross-functional working.
- Managing the engineering stores area for equipment and tools.
- Identifying and intervening on issues that may affect the operation, escalating issues
- Leading planned maintenance activities, including technical improvement activities.
- Ensuring adherence to and entry of RPO and MTTR data (documentation of jobs/hours completed through electronic reporting methods).
- Completing housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness within own and related areas.
- Championing the company's code of conduct, policies, and procedures.
- Supporting the repair and maintenance of all process and facilities equipment in a timely manner.
