We are seeking an ambitious and driven Recruitment Consultant to join us in our continued growth. 

After a successful start, forming in January 2021 and with ambitions to continue our growth, we are seeking an individual who shares our values with the drive to develop their career. This role will be working out of our office space in Mandale Business Park just outside of Durham City Centre with easy access from the A1/M. Elvet are a specialist recruitment agency operating in the Construction & Built Environment sector across the North of England.

The Job

As a Recruitment Consultant you will have full responsibility for running your own desk and managing the full 360° recruitment process for white collar permanent or temporary staff. This role will be recruiting into an existing and active client base within the construction industry in the North of England. Working alongside our other Consultant's who're actively recruiting in this market, meaning regular leads & business passed between the team.

As a Recruitment Consultant you will be expected to:

• Undertake regular business development / sales calls to generate new opportunities.
• Sourcing suitable candidates for open positions.
• Arrange interviews for candidates & clients, whilst consulting both parties in best practice.
• Manage candidates expectations to ensure they get the best service possible and ultimately the ideal new job role.

• Learn & grow a detailed knowledge with specific client base, market area and projects.

• Maintain relationships with our existing clients.

• Be responsible for your own workload, time management and to drive your own success.

We're looking for someone to become a total specialist in what they do by immersing themselves in their market & learning as much as possible about the clients, projects & roles they are recruiting for. We will consider people from all backgrounds, whether its your first steps into recruitment or if you are an experienced Consultant. You must be determined to create your own success and ideally have some sort of experience working in telesales or a sales environment. The rest we can teach you and training will be provided on the job.

Our commission scheme is totally uncapped with no monthly threshold, it increases in the year at certain billing thresholds so anything above target is rewarded at a higher rate. We also offer further earning potential in way of our golden envelope scheme for those who achieve above and beyond target. As an annual bonus, this can range a further £2,500 to £10,000.

On offer is an attractive basic salary of up to £30,000 (dependent on experience). This would represent a realistic OTE of £45,000+ but with some hard work & the right attitude could well surpass this figure!
