MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
Delta NEU Limited is the expanding UK subsidiary of the international NEU-JKF Group and has over 40 years’ experience in air technologies.
Delta NEU design and sell solutions for dust control, waste extraction and industrial ventilation across a range of industries in particular, corrugated board, carton, can and food.
We are further enhancing our UK division and are actively recruiting for an experienced mechanical Design Project Engineer to join our established engineering team based at our offices in Stockport
The MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER Role:
- Reporting to the Engineering Manager
- Carrying out site measures and producing plant layout drawings
- The detailing of fabrication drawings for manufacture
- Inspection of fabrications
- To ensure technical compliance
- Specifying, purchasing, sub-contractor progressing and delivery
- Installation organisation and preparation of site documentation H&S/RAMS
- Assisting in commissioning
The Requirements:
- A strong customer focus
- Excellent level of communication skills
- Experience of working on customer sites
- A recognised engineering qualification ideally to HNC level
- A thorough working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D
- 3D Inventor desirable
- You may be required to undertake occasional overseas travel, including training in France
