Smile Education are recruiting for a DT Technician to start in September for a school in Willenhall. 
 
This role will be part time, Wednesday - Friday 08.30-15.30
 
The successful candidate will assist teachers and students in the smooth running, demonstration and organisation of practical activities across the department, as well as monitoring the implementation of the department’s Health and Safety policy.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 

• Providing technical support for teaching staff in Design
• Preparing materials and resources in advance of lessons
• Support fellow technicians within the department, especially new members of staff.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills

 
The ideal candidate will have:
 

• Experience working in a school environment as a DT Technician preferred but not essential
• Must have CAD and wood work experience.
• A passion for working in a school environment
