As an Assistant Commercial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Commercial team by providing insightful analysis, managing data, and assisting in the development of strategies to drive business performance. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual looking to start or advance their career in commercial analysis.

The role includes but not limited to, (and most certainly welcomes the employee to grow the position further):

• Responsible for the development and production of regular reporting to Commercial & Finance team
• Support Commercial & Finance team by being responsible for the development and production of regular reporting including analysis and interpretation of performance and trend
• Identifying areas of opportunity from the reporting and analysis
• Support wider Commercial team with adhoc reporting as requested
• Responsible to produce monthly overheads management reporting with clear commentary
• Support Commercial Finance Business Partner with the preparation of monthly cost centre reports for budget holders
• Support Commercial Finance Business Partner with the preparation of rolling forecast ad budget reports
• Posting of monthly accruals and prepayments to Commercial and business overheads

The ideal candidate experience:

• Comfortable working with large datasets
• Previous experience in an analyst or reporting role
• Strong knowledge of excel
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail
