Business Development Manager

Join our well-established and dynamic engineering company specialising in the design and manufacture of tube and fabrication for the manufacturing sector. We are seeking a seasoned and energetic Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence.

Business Development Manager's Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of business opportunities.
  • Identify and cultivate new business through research, cold calling, and relationship building.
  • Deliver confident, well-researched, and tailored sales presentations.
  • Price and quote flexibly and creatively to ensure customer growth and profitability.

Business Development Manager's Education & Experience

  • Proven experience in tube sales or related fields.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and profit margins while building strong customer relationships.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on driving business outcomes and delivering value and profit to the organization.
  • Strong sales acumen, driven by lead sourcing to win new business.
  • Experience in a business development or client-facing operational role.
  • A strong desire to succeed.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive and driven approach.
  • Commercially minded with high-level attention to detail.

Business Development Manager's Benefits and Schedule

  • Salary of £65k (DOE) plus commission/bonus (monthly, quarterly and yearly)
  • Remote/Hybrid working
  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am to 4:30 pm (30-minute unpaid break).
  • 20 days annual holiday (plus Bank Holidays).
