Our client is currently seeking skilled and dedicated Workshop Operatives to join their dynamic team. Known for their high-quality services, our client offers a supportive and growth-oriented work environment. We are pleased to help them find the right candidates for these crucial roles. This is based in Thornliebank.

Monday - Thursday 8am-4.30pm Friday 8am-3.30pm @ £12ph.

Hours will be changing to Monday - Thursday 7.30am-4.45pm Friday 8am-12pm.

Lots of overtime available paid at Time 1/2 and double time after 4hrs on weekends.

Available Positions:

1. Production Operative - Masking Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare metal products for grit blasting by carefully applying masking tape.
• Ensure precision and attention to detail in the masking process to protect specified areas.
• Follow detailed instructions and specifications to maintain product quality.

Requirements:

• High attention to detail and precision.
• Experience with masking or similar preparatory tasks is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including manual lifting.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to quality.

2. Production Operative - Quality Inspection and Finisher

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect finished goods post-production to identify and address any discrepancies.
• Clean, sand and finish painted products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform touch-ups on painted surfaces as necessary.
• Document inspection results and communicate with the production team.

Requirements:

• Keen eye for detail and quality.
• Experience in quality control or finishing work is advantageous.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including manual lifting.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
