Quantity Surveyor
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing and leading contractor within the interior sector specializing in SFS, steel frame systems, partitions, interior glazing, ceilings, dyrlining and plastering.
The Candidate:
5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Steel Framing Systems, Suspended Ceilings, Drylining, Partitions or Plastering market
Possess a Quantity Surveying degree (desirable but not essential)
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, COINS or similar takeoff software
Analytic ability with numeric and English literacy skills
Sound knowledge of contracts and Health & Safety policies and procedures
Be an easy-going self-starter that is commercially aware
Involvement in the pre-contract and estimating project phases
Using drawings and specifications to produce Bills of Quantities
Maintaining communication with the project team
Attend weekly project progress meetings
Compiling accurate project reports
