The Role:

This is a pivotal role as they look to modernise their Estimating function and develop a ‘best in class’ approach. You will work closely with existing and potential clients, preparing and submitting estimates for a variety of schemes and frameworks. It will work closely with the procurement and wider commercial teams and aim to secure projects ranging from £100K to £25M+ across all areas within the civil engineering space.

Senior Estimator – Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive analysis and cost estimation of civil engineering projects
• Identify risks and opportunities and incorporate them into a tender bid
• Challenge proposed designs and methodology to identify possible alternative construction methods, technologies, and products

Senior Estimator – You:

• Min. 10 years experience in an Estimating or Senior QS role within a civil engineering organisation
• Experience in Causeway, Candy or similar estimating packages
• Working knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
• Previous experience of leading and managing a team
