I am currently leading the search for a Senior Underwriting Manager to join a reputable Bridging Finance Lender based in Manchester. (Mortgage experience will be considered for this role)

The role would sit in the underwriting team looking after 3 team leaders and up to 15 bridging finance underwriters,

The role holder would hold a large credit mandate and would sanction credit proposals for the business alongside managing an reviewing credit risk.

The role would be based in Altrincham and will be office based.

Responsibilities would include:

• Act as a lending authority for the lender
• Support with development of the lenders lending policies
• Provide and lead on training across credit risk for underwriters and lending teams
   

To be considered you would need:

• Extensive background in credit risk and underwriting with a focus on bridging / development finance – Mortgage Team Leaders, Managers or Operations managers will be considered for this role.
• Risk portfolio experience alongside the ability to generate MI and enhance frameworks and policies
