SR2 are delighted to be sharing an opportunity for a mid-level Java developer with a lovely community-driven, family owned business based in North Bristol, who have been scaling up their engineering department quite significantly over the past 18 months.

It's an exciting time to join them and work on an impact-led Greenfield project with modern Java technologies.

We're looking for a Java developer to come and join a supportive and collaborative product team who are working on a system that is booking in appointments for workers within housing trades to make repairs within social/council housing estates. The work is really important, and making a positive impact on these homes + the people living within them!

Technologies in use are Java, Spring boot, RabbitMQ, Microservices, Azure Pipelines, SQL, CI/CD, RESTful APIs and more.

Experience needed:

• Mid-level Java & Spring development skills
• Attitude & willingness towards continuous learning
• Great communication and a real team player
• Understanding and worked with SQL databases
• Familarility with Cloud (Azure) would be a really nice to have
• Experienced with Microservices
