Site Manager – West Yorkshire
My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Manager to oversee work being carried out on multiple sites in the Yorkshire region. This role requires an experienced leader capable of managing teams, optimizing resources, and ensuring the successful completion of civil works projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and control foremen, skilled labour, and work crews engaged in civil works.
• Optimise resources (manpower, equipment, materials) for efficient and timely project completion.
• Read and understand specifications, drawings, and related project documentation.
• Keep detailed records of all work completed and maintain _Action Lists._
• Ensure proper supply of tools, equipment, and materials to work crews.
• Prevent wastage and misuse of resources.
• Supervise work crews to maximize manpower and material utilization.
• Communicate instructions efficiently and effectively to the workforce.
• Liaise with discipline foremen to optimize available work and ensure project success.
• Read and interpret drawings, including excavation dimensions, pipe and re-bar angles, concrete mixtures, and pipe placement.
• Familiarity with HS&E and QA/QC procedures and regulations and enforce them on-site.
• Comply with the highest level of safety during all project stages to avoid incidents and accidents.
• Program the works in advance, meeting delivery dates for contract completion across various contracts in the northern region.

• SMSTS 5-day course.
• CSCS Site Manager/Supervisor.
• NRASWA.
• Utility Services Coordinator.
• SEATS CITB Environmental Training (desirable, but some form of environmental training required).
• Lift Supervisor.
• Confined Spaces.
• First Aid.
• Cat and Genny.
• Temporary Works Coordinator.
• Appointed Person (LOLER & PUWER, Slinging Techniques BS7121 Parts 1 & 111).
• EUSR Certificate.
