What will the role of Engineering Instructor involve:

The role will be based on days in Worcester on a full-time, permanent basis and will be responsible for:

• Delivering training in Turning, Milling CNC, CAD and Hand Fitting techniques.
• Contributing to a well sequenced curriculum plan for the specified apprenticeship programme.
• Ensuring delivery is appropriate to the learning group and relevant to the qualification.
• Motivating and supporting learners to optimise their potential.
• Giving timely and constructive feedback to learners, both in delivery sessions and through written or verbal means, when work is submitted for tutor review/assessment

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Experience in a Manufacturing/Engineering workplace.
• Confident with Turning, Milling, CNC and CAD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence when working with people of all ages and abilities.
• Be enthused by passing on their own skills and knowledge to apprentices.
