Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a national energy contractor operating within the renewables sector.
They have full-time positions available for smart meter engineers.
Salary: £35,000 plus bonus and call out OTE circa £42,000 per year
The Role:
- Installation and fault finding/repairs of smart meters in domestic properties.
The Package:
- 8.00am – 4.30pm
- Local work
- £20 per meter bonus for every meter over 6 per day. Bonus banked daily
- Call out 1 in 6 (more available if wanted). £200 standby payment plus £17.00 per hour travel time and £20.00 per job
- Van, full van stock, Fuel Card & Uniform provided.
- Mobile phone & tablet device
- 28 days annual leave incl. bank holidays
- Attendance scheme - £100 per month for no sickness
- Ongoing training and development
The Candidate:
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience working with smart meters (gas and electric) – installation and fault finding/repairs.
- ACS Qualified including CCN1 or CMA1 & MET1
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
