Red Recruitment is recruiting an Account Handler in Birmingham. You will be working closely with the Branch Manager and Fleet Commercial Operation team, participating in enhancing team performance and business growth.

The salary for this position is £27,000 per annum and contains many benefits.

  • Salary: £27,000 per annum plus £4,000 performance related bonus per annum
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm
  • Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities of an Account Handler:

  • Driving the office's commercial success and supporting the leadership of the dynamic branch team
  • Utilising CRM systems to be maintained with updated files, customer outcomes, diary, lead and opportunity cycle stage
  • Ensuring accuracy on all data entries and submissions to allow fluid operation and SLA turnarounds
  • Maintaining a professional approach to communication, ensuring it is used as a main tool to build and maintain all levels of customer relationship
  • Identifying and feeding back opportunities for corporate partnerships

Key Skills and Experience of an Account Handler:

  • 2 years of insurance related experience
  • Account/Portfolio management experience is desirable
  • Having an analytical mindset, problem-solving skills and the ability to build relationships are all required skills
  • Having a comprehensive understanding of insurance products is advantageous
  • You should be self-motivated with a professional approach
