My client is an award-winning practice of Chartered Building Surveyors and Historic Building Consultants. They are the only Conservation Accredited Chartered Building Surveyors in Cheltenham and have extensive experience of all types of Heritage enabling them to provide a comprehensive and complete solution to a wide range of clients. 

We are currently looking to recruit an Office Administrator that works to ensure the smooth running of the business and contribute to our growing reputation in the Heritage sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Using Microsoft Office software to ensure efficient running of the business.
  • Ensuring spreadsheets are maintained and updated accurately.
  • Responding efficiently to emails and telephone enquiries, establishing effective working relationships.
  • Managing filing systems.
  • Recording and managing invoicing and expenditure.
  • Maintaining business office supplies.
  • Organising team meetings and social events.
  • Managing the company social media and website.
  • Working closely with our surveyors, preparing letters, documents and typing reports.
  • Organising appointments and taking new enquiries from prospective clients.

EXPERIENCE & ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Experience/relevant qualification in an administrative role/business administration.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and team working.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and ability to work within a small, close working team environment.
  • Ability to deal confidently and sensitively with people.
  • Professional, organised, and thorough approach to work with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Enthusiasm for conservation, the historic built environment and architecture.
